Summary
At Euclid Fish Company the Office Engagement Specialist is responsible for serving customers by providing company product information along with service solutions, the position will also entail resolving product or delivery concerns or other associated service problems that may arise in the course of business.
Our Office Engagement Specialist will need to be flexible in the duties of General Office including, Receiving, Phone, Order Entry and Processing, assist to coordinate other departments within the organization including specific purchasing as well as understanding of all company platforms used for commerce. This crucial position acts as a reliable support system by providing support for internal and external operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Duties:
Support to General Office inquiries.
Accurately process sales orders received whether from direct sales, in house programs or company
retail market
Communicate proactively with internal purchasing team as well as warehouse and logistics to
coordinate incoming and outgoing products by offering viable solutions.
Participate in company training on all levels of company departments, fresh, wild, farmed,
sustainable, Center of the plate as well as frozen, dry, specialty.
Understand use of company platforms; Pepper on Line processing, Data Essential Firefly, Zoho CRM
and Reporting, Enterprise Café, Vista Track along with any data platforms in house. Note all of
these programs are used in purchasing and or receiving in some varied degree
Participate in sales activities with team regarding Focus 5 monthly,
Assist in preparation of sample coordination with sales team management, vendors and local
broker representatives.
Resolve internal and external concerns in a professional and timely manner
Manage pre orders or special with purchasing team
Work with Company leadership team to coordinate assignments
Document and report account positive or negative activities weekly via CRM.
Develop and maintain good relationships throughout the company chain to ensure smooth
execution of duties.
Work with Team to understand company process, assist in purchase orders, receiving of product
paperwork.
Support VPOP with Selected Reporting
Support of EFC Market Team duties would include processing retail efcmarket.com orders, communicating with store lead as well as assisting in EFC Market service counter on occasion.
Support EFC Wholesale and EFC Market incoming order placement.
Support and Assist EFC Market Customer Counter Team during peak seasonal business as well as day to day activities as the need presents itself.
Support EFC Market Team inquiries regarding Holiday and Clambake
Review assigned and frequent emails or industry publications, staying in the know and increasing individual value toward internal and external purchasing

Non-essential duties:
Assist in other assignments that pertain to General Office, Receiving and purchasing
Seasonal and Holiday Business tends to involve Saturdays and schedules may be adjusted to accommodate

Qualifications
Qualifications include:
High School or Equivalent, experience with 2 years’ the foodservice industry, sales, kitchen and/ or customer service experience.
Strong desire to please others while upselling, suggestive selling and ability to service
customers over the phone
Professional demeanor, in a professional office setting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office required); spreadsheet applications using Excel
Knowledge of CRM and Order processing systems
Likes to solve problems and help delight customers
Ability to discuss cooking ideas and experiences.

Working Conditions
Office environment-controlled climate, while warehouse and other parts of warehouse are temperature controlled with a base temperature of 45
From time-to-time visits to processing area fillet or warehouse for short time periods, which will
include exposure to cold temperatures
Adhere to all safety, BRC, food safe and GMP guidelines while in the plant
Occasional lifting may be required in retail or warehouse.
Flexibility; ability to respond to changes as needed
Physical Requirements
Regular/daily use of phone and computer, up to 8 hours per day.
Occasional lifting and carrying packages weighing up to 10 lbs.
May be required to stand for extended periods of time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
