Compensation: $55,000-$65,000 annually
Location: Cleveland, OH (Remote – Local applicants only)

Job Summary
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining all customer accounts within your assigned territory. This includes regular client outreach to assess needs, presenting new and diverse product offerings, ensuring timely fulfillment, troubleshooting, and follow-ups. You will manage sales planning, forecasting and administration weekly, plan daily schedules to service your accounts, and generate new business through up-selling, cold calls, sampling and referrals.
You will collaborate across departments to provide an exceptional customer experience and service—from first contact through to delivery—leveraging the sales skills you've developed throughout your career. Local travel is required.
The primary role of the salesperson is to work with our customers to serve as a trusted partner for seafood and specialty gourmet foods. Through an engaged and collaborative style, the sales representative will build meaningful relationships. Must demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work with other departments

What You’ll Do:
- Execute your weekly road/sales schedule and submit it to the VP of Sales via the company CRM. Focus on accounts with the potential to generate over $40,000 annually.
- Open a minimum of 3 new accounts monthly and deliver 5 full-line Euclid Program presentations per month, following Euclid Fish sales expectations.
- Engage, develop, and manage both target and strategic accounts.
- Review your own sales performance with the Director of Sales, while leveraging Euclid Fish platforms such as Enterprise Café, Microsoft Teams and our in house inventory and invoicing systems.
- Accurately process sales requests, sample orders, delivery schedules, bids, and special pricing. Ensure all customer orders are timely and accurate in date, quantity, margin, and drop size using your forecast screen.
- Align your personal goals with company targets for each client visit.
- Identify client needs and present weekly product solutions using FOCUS 5 to drive upselling in all product categories.
- Prepare client meetings with insights into menu planning; utilize consultative selling, provide samples, and deliver custom sell sheets.
- Maintain consistent communication with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries and meet customer expectations.
- Attend company and industry/association events as assigned.
- Work with the fillet room to ensure accurate cuts and specifications for customer orders.
- Collaborate with the Purchasing and Management teams to identify high-potential items based on your market experience.
- Complete CRM reporting daily and submit weekly updates to the Director of Sales and monthly updates to the Management Team—on time, every time.
- Share your weekly schedule with the office manager and provide updates in your reporting. Support the office during staff vacations and provide backup to the retail team during peak times.
- Participate in seasonal business needs such as Lent, Clambake Season, Holiday sales, warehouse events, and dock sales.
- Continuously grow your industry knowledge through trade reading, seminars, and ride-along.
- Build trust and maintain client relationships through follow-ups—via visits, calls, emails, or texts.
- Review your own orders at the end of each day for accuracy, regardless of who entered them.
Additional (Non-Essential) Duties:
- Hand-tag products when needed
- Conduct credit pre-checks on prospective clients
- Respond to incoming sales calls promptly
- Replenish your own marketing materials (cards, sell sheets, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned by management
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field – or equivalent experience
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 and general computer use
- Motivated, independent, and self-directed
- Previous Sales Management and food industry experience
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
- Strong communication and professional presentation
- Valid driver’s license
Working Conditions:
- Frequent local travel using a personal vehicle
- Occasional travel outside of territory as requested by Director of Sales.
- Time spent in fillet room and warehouse (cold temperatures); must follow all safety and food handling guidelines
- Must be flexible to accommodate schedule changes as needed
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing 30–50 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods when needed
