The Eudora School District is seeking qualified applicants for the Virtual and Alternative Teacher position in the Cardinal Academy. Eudora High School Cardinal Academy is designed for Eudora School District students who need an alternative high school approach to succeed during their high school experience, obtain a high school diploma, and be prepared for life post-high school. Cardinal Academy approaches each student's needs individually, but students are still expected to adhere to the district's rules, procedures, and policies. In addition, the Virtual and Alternative Teacher will be passionate about fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for students in grades 6-12 and adult learners in a virtual and in-person environment, overseeing students in Eudora Schools Virtual Learning. ESVL is a 6-12 and adult learning virtual education experience.
The candidate should possess :
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Kansas teaching certification for grades 6-12.
- Proven experience in virtual teaching and / or familiarity with online learning platforms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective virtual collaboration.
- Technologically proficient, with the ability to adapt to new tools and platforms.
