The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center (The O’Neill) is in search of a Van Driver for the 2025 Summer Season.
This is an hourly contracted position and is expected to work 25-35 hours per week, including nights and weekends. The rate for this position is $16.35/hour.

The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center is the country’s preeminent organization dedicated to the development of new works and new voices for the stage. From its campus in Waterford, Connecticut, the O’Neill has been home to more than 1,000 new works for the stage and thousands more emerging artists.
The Opportunity
Van Drivers are responsible for the safe transportation of some of the O’Neill’s most precious cargo- our staff, students and artists. Van Drivers may be asked to transport artists from Campus to our off-site housing as well as to nearby airports and train stations.
The Van Driver reports directly to the Company Manager and must be prompt and a good communicator. Shifts run from 7:30 AM-1PM and 5PM-12:30 AM. 35 hours per week. We are willing to work around your schedule. This is the perfect job for someone looking for something to do this summer!
Qualifications:
- Must be over the age of 21 with a valid US Driver's License
- Must have an upbeat and positive attitude
- Have a good driving record
- Be willing to drive at night up until 12:30 AM
- Thrives in creative environments
Contract Dates: June 1st-July6th
Compensation: $16.35/hour
