Position Summary
This is a full-time 1.0 FTE / 8 hour per day position working on the CL-12 (12 months per school year) schedule.
Inspect, diagnose, plan painting projects, and performs lead worker duties over several crews of painters.
Distinguishing Characteristics
This classification is distinguished from the painter class by additional responsibilities to inspect painting projects, determine necessary supplies and resources, and otherwise lead and coordinate the activities of other painters and painting crews.
Essential Functions :
- Receive, prioritize and schedule painting projects including estimating resources, supplies, and costs. Ensure that equipment and supplies are maintained.
- Train and perform other lead worker responsibilities overseeing the work of painter crews. Inspect projects to ensure work quality and cost efficiency are complied with.
- Ensure that safe work practices and techniques are complied with by all workers supervised.
- Perform all responsibilities of painters and painting crews as needed.
- Complete work sheets, work orders, and other related paper work.
- Complete employee performance appraisal task assigned.
- Maintains regular and prompt attendance.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
