Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Position Overview Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position supporting the VA Medical Centers in the Myrtle Beach, SC region. This role provides skilled nursing care to patients in Acute Care, Primary Care and Specialty Clinics settings, working closely with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care to our veterans.

Market Commons VA Clinic (Myrtle Beach, SC)
Key Responsibilities
Provide skilled nursing care to patients in Acute Care, Primary Care and Specialty Clinics settings
Prepare, administer, and document actions related to medications (oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and / or intravenous) as permitted by facility policies
Monitor and document patient responses to medications and treatments
Interact professionally with patients, family members, and healthcare team members
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (CPRS)
Follow all VA policies, safety standards and procedures
Participate in patient education and care coordination
May be required to work with COVID-19 positive patients and PUIs
Comply with all infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
Required :
Graduate of a state-approved school of practical / vocational nursing
Current unrestricted LPN license from any US state
Current BLS / CPR certification from American Heart Association
Minimum 2 years of current experience (must have worked within last 6 months) in primary care or specialty clinic setting
Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Required immunizations including COVID-19 vaccine (or approved exemption)
Must complete VA-required training upon hire
Prior VA or government healthcare experience (Preferred)
Experience with VA CPRS / Vista systems (Preferred)
