Description
The Department of Chemistry at Georgetown University invites applications for a non-tenure track position in Analytical and Environmental Chemistry to begin in Fall 2025. The teaching load is 3 courses per semester, or the equivalent thereof, with core responsibilities in both introductory and advanced-level undergraduate courses. We are especially interested in candidates with prior teaching experience who can enthusiastically contribute to curriculum development efforts. Candidates with demonstrated interests in environmental chemistry and those who can find synergy with other university initiatives, such as the Earth Commons, will be positively viewed. Strong candidates should have demonstrated potential for quality teaching, effective student mentoring, and the ability to work collaboratively.

Qualifications

The projected base salary range is $83,191 - $92,434. Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
