Job Description

We are seeking a creative, versatile, and highly motivated Visual Content Creator to join our team. The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller with a proven ability to work independently and bring high levels of creativity to every project. This role requires someone with experience crafting polished, engaging content that highlights the unique qualities of higher-end products.

In this role, you will:

  • Use our in-house studio to create visually stunning content for a variety of platforms, including social media, YouTube, paid advertisements, and eCommerce channels.
  • Plan, shoot and edit high-quality video and photography content that elevates our brand and showcases our products' premium features and craftsmanship.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team and creative team to conceptualize campaigns while taking ownership of end-to-end execution.


Responsibilities

  • Video Production:
  • Plan, shoot, and edit video content, including but not limited to:
  • Social media videos (Reels, TikTok videos, YouTube shorts and long-form content, etc.)Paid advertising campaigns across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Google Ads.
  • User-generated content (UGC) by collaborating with influencers and customers.
  • Instructional or "how-to" videos for product use and training.


Photography / Videography:

  • Capture high-quality commercial product photography for marketing materials, e-commerce platforms, and advertising campaigns.
  • Set up and manage lighting, backdrops, and other equipment to ensure professional, visually appealing shots.
  • Edit and retouch photos to meet brand standards and maintain consistency.
  • YouTube Channel Management:
  • Manage the company’s YouTube channel, including uploading videos, optimizing metadata, writing engaging titles and descriptions, and creating custom thumbnails.
  • Monitor YouTube analytics to identify growth opportunities and improve video performance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow subscribers, views, and engagement on the platform.


Pre-Production:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop concepts, scripts, and storyboards tailored to the target audience and objectives.
  • Scout locations, prepare equipment, and coordinate logistics for shoots.


Post-Production:

  • Edit raw footage to create polished, engaging videos, ensuring high-quality visuals and sound.
  • Edit and enhance videos to ensure they align with brand guidelines while maintaining an authentic, user-centric feel.
  • Add motion graphics, animations, text overlays, or other visual elements as needed.
  • Optimize videos and photos for various formats and platforms, ensuring platform-specific requirements are met.


Social Media Integration:

  • Stay updated on trends across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn to produce culturally relevant and trend-driven content.
  • Adapt content for organic reach and paid performance, ensuring maximum engagement and ROI.
  • Performance Optimization:
  • Analyze video and photo performance metrics to refine creative strategies and improve results.
  • Experiment with different formats, styles, and narratives to discover what resonates with the audience.


Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and design, to align video, photography, and YouTube content with brand identity and campaign goals.
  • Work closely with offshore partners to build and maintain an assets library.
  • Manage relationships with external contributors, such as influencers or content creators, for UGC and collaborative projects.


Equipment Management:

  • Manage camera and lighting equipment on set to ensure the best visual outcomes.
  • Maintain and organize all video and photography gear, including ensuring all equipment is functional and properly stored.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with equipment as needed during shoots.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Photography, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 years of experience in videography, photography, video editing, and post-production, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work across social media, branded content, and storytelling visuals.
  • Ability to work onsite and or on location -Full time


Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Videographer and Photographer in a marketing, social media, or advertising context.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing commercial product photography, video work, and UGC content.
  • Experience creating User-Generated Content (UGC) videos, either in-house or in collaboration with creators and influencers.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in photography editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • Experience with motion graphics and animations (e.g., After Effects is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends, including video and photo specifications and best practices for engagement.
  • Ability to operate video and photography equipment, including cameras, lighting, and sound gear.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for detail, composition, and storytelling.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in home furniture or décor a plus
  • Knowledge of color grading, audio editing, and special effects.
  • Familiarity with paid advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads) and their video/photo requirements.
  • Experience managing a YouTube channel, including content strategy, optimization, and analytics.
  • Experience working with influencers or managing UGC campaigns.
  • Background in creating instructional or training videos.
  • Product styling and set design for photography.
  • Experience and knowledge of Sony camera equipment, including lenses and accessories.
  • Technical: Proficient in professional video and photography equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear. Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, and After Effects) and familiarity with video editing software. Knowledge of color grading, photo editing, and post-production workflows is essential.


Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to assist with the breakdown and setup of all equipment, including cameras, lighting, and furniture, move and arrange furniture pieces weighing up to 50 lbs, and work in various weather conditions and temperatures as required by on-location shoots.

Portfolio:

A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality video and photography projects, including work for social media, branded content, advertisements, and storytelling visuals. It should demonstrate technical proficiency, creativity, and the ability to produce engaging content across various platforms.

  • Collaboration: Comfortable working cross-functionally with designers, marketers, and product teams to refine and enhance content.
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 30% of the time for product launches, events, or team meetings.
