What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Services Office Manager position at Eureka Springs Hospital Commission?
The Facilities Office manager reports to the Director of Nursing and Clinical Services. Main job duties include:
Develops, evaluates, and implements departmental policies and procedures, goals, objectives, and standards of work for the maintenance and repair of medical equipment, building, and building systems, in compliance with the REH rules and regulations.
Coordinates the repair of equipment or recommends the replacement of or additions to equipment or physical plant as necessary.
Maintains an inventory of parts and supplies to maximize the operational readiness of hospital building systems and equipment.
Responsible for the selection and coordination of all maintenance services contractors, and ensure all contractual provisions are met along with established codes. Obtain 3 bids for services when required.
Ensures compliance with policies and procedures regarding maintenance and housekeeping department operations, fire, safety, and infection control.
Develops and implements QAPI score and data monthly to leadership and quality council.
Conduct monthly relevant in-service training for department personnel.
Assist with housekeeping/laundry/maintenance as required.
All other duties assigned.
