Job Description:
The Security Officer is responsible for the Security and Safety of all The Brook Employees, Guests, and Assets.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Handles, counts and verifies gaming chips in multiple denominations.
- Ensures the integrity of gambling, count room, and cash handling procedures.
- Conducts property inspections and escorts of company assets.
- Prepares detailed incident reports.
- Pushes and pulls heavy carts during machine drops.
- Reports all violations of Gaming regulations, internal controls, and company policies and procedures.
- Patrols the Casino and adjacent areas for suspicious and illegal activities.
- Reports all gaming regulation violations to appropriate departments and agencies.
- Ensures all guest and company vehicles are parked properly and in their designated locations.
- Watches for and reports any potential safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Quickly responds to and handles matters involving demanding guests or employees.
- Quickly responds to and contacts local law enforcement, fire department, or other emergency personnel in matters involving medical emergencies.
- All other duties as assigned.
