Job Description:
Surveillance Operator runs all surveillance computer equipment, monitors all areas of the property and closely observes a target game, staff member, or customer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Conducts routine surveillance filming, review video, and complete documentation to detect suspicious activities and behavior throughout casino and gaming areas
- Review video and complete documentation regarding specific slot and table game jackpots, guest complaints, procedure errors, risk management issues, player evaluations, theft and variances
- Monitor all casino areas and personnel including but not limited to Table Games, Casino Cage, Soft Count, Race & Sports, Slots, Poker and Bingo
- Operate CCTV/digital equipment to conduct surveillance
- Prevent loss by identifying procedure errors and suspicious behavior shown by employees and patrons
- Maintain strict confidentiality for the company when conducting observations and investigations
- Utilizes computer and associated equipment to complete documentation
- Write and prepare daily reports and logs
- Maintains evidence by dubbing and saving video files
- Testifies in court as a representative for the company as necessary
- Understands, follows and implements all company and departmental policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned
