Eureka Woodworks is looking for an Architect to join our team
This position requires to have a high level of experience in reading and understanding architectural drawings, floor plans and specifications. On this role, the individual will support multiple functions as needed such as project management, estimating, drafting, coordination, contract and document management, purchasing, etc.
Desired Skills and Expected Responsibilities
- High level of competence in reading architectural blue prints
- Experience managing projects (millwork projects a plus)
- Coordinate projects with the shop for manufacturing; with the field for installation and with the customer for project management
- Work with Estimating in reviewing and responding to proposal opportunities
- Coordinate and supervise the development of shop drawings
- Corresponding and communicating in a timely manner between job site superintendents, project managers and the operation manager, confirming field conditions and measurements are accurate and ready for installation
- Attending job site meetings as required
- Making sure that all materials are available for project execution
- Woodworking and cabinetry experience a plus
- Experience with AWI standards for construction and installation a plus
Requirements
- Self starter with good organization/time management skills
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to lead by example and adapt to change and motivate and direct team members
- Verifiable track record of successful projects
- Spanish a plus

- 8 hour shift
