Eureka Woodworks is looking for an Assistant Project Manager
The Assistant Project Manager's responsibilities include coordinate projects and activities; review new projects and coordinate project changes; negotiate with subcontractors; oversee the development of submittals and shop drawings; lead the execution of the project from material sourcing to internal resources and subcontractor and labor management. It is the Assistant Project Manager's responsibility to help execute the projects in a manner that maximizes profitability, minimizes rework and controls the environment to insure our reputation for quality and attention to detail. This individual must have excellent communication skills and sensitivity to client relations and be able to cultivate respect with our skilled labor force.
Required Skills
- Woodworking and cabinetry experience a plus
- Experience managing millwork projects preferred
- High level of competence reading architectural blue prints and reading and developing estimates
- Experience with AWI standards for construction and installation a plus
- Coordinate project with the shop for manufacturing; with the field for installation and with the customer for project management
- Highly organized with excellent planning and resources management skills
- Experience with AutoCad a plus
Responsibilities
- Supervise the development of shop drawings
- Maintain deep understanding of the scope and status of each project
- Perform site visits and conduct field dimensions
- Coordinate with fabrication and with installers and field personnel
- High level of customer service. Maintain a professional working relationship with site supervisors, supervisors and the coordination with our installers
- Attend job site meetings as required
- Ensure proper project flow from submittals, to timely fabrication, to proper conditions for installation
Requirements
- Self starter with good organization/time management skills
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to lead by example and adapt to change and motivate and direct team members
- Thorough knowledge of woodworking fabrication and installations including cabinetry and architectural millwork
- Verifiable track record of successful project management

Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
