Job Summary
We are NOW HIRING an experienced Chef Manager to join our corporate dining team. Please note - this is a BRAND NEW location; the Chef Manager will be joining the business, pre-opening, and will be an integral part of the opening process. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing account and to make a tremendous impact on the operation!
We are seeking a growth minded Chef Manager committed to quality operations. In this role you are responsible for the success of both the culinary and food service operation. As a Chef Manager with Compass Group - Eurest, you're an impactful leader, ensuring high quality breakfast and lunch dining experiences for the employees on site. We need a diligent, motivated, committed leader who seeks to inspire and motivate their team, each and every day. Interested applicants must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage the culinary team (5 associates) and ensure a well functioning food service operation to include inventory, ordering and receiving
- Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable
- Proficient in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with a focus on sourcing and utilizing local food products
- Train, motivate, and lead a culinary team to meet (or exceed!) client expectations
- Possesses a passion for sustainability, quality cuisine, and exceptional guest service
