Position Overview:
As the Automotive Sales Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our multi-location operation. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the sales and service teams across our various locations, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, and continuous growth. This role requires someone who embraces servant leadership and is eager to lead by example, fostering a collaborative and success-driven work environment. You will be working in conjunction with our Amazing Technical director to insure goals and quality of our service is never compromised.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and inspire a diverse team of sales and service professionals across multiple locations. Foster a culture of servant leadership, where team members are empowered, motivated, and provided with the tools to excel. Grow your technicians and oversee service writers
- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless coordination between sales and service departments. Monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Experience: Maintain our commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Set the standard for customer service and ensure that the sales and service teams consistently meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans for business expansion and growth. Provide insights and recommendations to enhance processes, streamline operations, and capitalize on market opportunities as well as additional locations.
- Training and Development: Implement comprehensive training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members. Focus on continuous improvement and provide opportunities for personal and professional development.
- Financial Performance: Partner with the finance department to develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and implement strategies to achieve financial goals. Work closely with team members to ensure they are set up for financial success.
- Multi-Location Management: Effectively ensuring consistent implementation of company policies, procedures, and standards. Foster a sense of unity and shared purpose among team members across different sites.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business preferred but not required, 3 years in Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Technical Certifications / ASE's (Preferred but not required)
- Proven experience in automotive sales and service management, preferably in a multi-location setting.
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated commitment to servant leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Track record of achieving operational and financial targets.
- Passion for customer service excellence and a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Has not changed more then 3 jobs in the last 5 years.
