Duties
- Develop and implement training programs tailored to the needs of individual athletes or teams.
- Provide instruction in various sports, including cheerleading, swimming, judo, karate, and general gym activities.
- Manage student behavior effectively to maintain a positive and productive training environment.
- Conduct regular assessments of student progress and adjust training methods as necessary.
- Foster teamwork and sportsmanship among athletes.
- Organize practices, competitions, and events to promote student engagement.
- Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to health club standards and lifeguard protocols when applicable.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding progress and any concerns.
Requirements
- Previous experience in sports coaching or related fields is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cheerleading, swimming, judo, karate, or other relevant sports.
- Experience working with students in an educational or athletic setting is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage behavior effectively and create a supportive atmosphere for learning.
- Certification in lifeguarding or first aid is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate others.
