Job Description
The Engineering team has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Test Application Engineer to work with a variety of electromechanical test systemsand customers to grow EAG's business. EAG provides stress-based reliability qualification and knowledge-based reliability qualificationmethodologies based on industry standards insupport of our client's need to achieve high quality and reliable products.This is a hands-on position that requires strong problem-solving skills to perform a wide range of analytical work
The Mechanical Test Application Engineer has the critical role of running reliability jobs on state-of-the-art products and interfacing directly with clients to define scope of work, develop technical requirements and programs, debug and resolve issues, and communicate schedule and status.
Essential Job Functions :
As a Mechanical Test Application Engineer, you are responsible for interpreting customer requirements, running reliability stresses on materials and products to test their durability and execute such standardized work based on documented operating procedures. Activities include creating fixturing solutions for mechanical testing, loading chamber profiles, performing chamber tests, manual testing, and meticulous handling and analysis of samples. You are responsible for ensuring a high quality, on-schedule delivery of these results to our clients in the semiconductor and consumer devices industry so that they can qualify their devices.
Responsibilities :
- Assist management in development of cost, scope, and schedules for new projects.
- Test development, determine fixturing requirements and best practice for mechanical durability tests for various products and sub-assemblies.
- Test instruction interpretation and execution. Work directly with customer and inner company team members to analyze customer requirements and communicate questions, concerns, and recommendations.
- Data Collection and Analysis : monitor tests, collect and analyze data, and document findings.
- Perform tests that can very from day to day or can be repetitive in nature. Tasks may require manual dexterity, repetitive physical motion, and consistent attention to detail.
- Perform visual inspection of various products, sub-assemblies, and components. Visual acuity with or without vision correction.
- Learn to use simple and complex systems and tools to perform various mechanical and environmental durability tests of mechanical and electrical samples.

Additional Information
Compensation Range : $95,000-$100,000 / yr. (Pay rate is commensurate with experience and degree of technical expertise.)
