The National Commercial Director of Industrial Hygiene US is a senior leadership role responsible for the development and execution of a commercial strategy across all regions and markets. The key responsibilities include driving revenue growth, strengthening customer and partnership relationships, aligning sales, marketing, and business development functions to support long-term growth. As a key member of the executive team, you’ll balance big-picture strategy with day-to-day execution, client visits, technical network and association participation, lead high-performing teams, and shape national go-to-market initiatives that differentiate us in a competitive landscape.
Strategic Leadership:
- Define and execute national commercial strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
- Identify and pursue new growth opportunities through market expansion, partnerships, and portfolio innovation.
- Apply technical and business acumen in advising senior leadership on market demands and emerging trends and support development and execution of strategic growth plans.
People Leadership:
- Recruit, manage, evaluate, train, mentor and support the national Sales and Business Development team.
- Network with other regional sales teams, business unit managers, project managers and technical principals to grow Eurofins’ national IH program.
- Work closely with Marketing to implement strategic marketing initiatives, materials, trainings, etc.
Market and Client Excellence:
- Represent Eurofins at national conferences and key industry networks and associations
- Act as a subject matter expert and thought leader on emerging IH trends.
- Advise and educate clients, colleagues, and the market on best practice.
- Strengthen customer relationships and key account strategies to drive retention and upsell.
Financial Oversight
- Own revenue targets, gross margin performance, and key commercial KPIs.
- Drive forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking for all commercial activities.
- Monitor territory performance, sales operations, pricing strategies, and resource allocation.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support business needs and team objectives.
- BS/BA in Science (Chemistry, Environmental Science, Biochemistry) required; Higher level education preferred; MBA preferred
- Minimum 10 years progressively commercial or operational leadership, ideally in nationally role
- Minimum of 5 years of sales and sales management experience - preferably IH laboratory business in high-growth environments.
- Lab experience in IAQ/IH industry strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial performance metrics (P&L, margin management, ROI).
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Sales techniques – with emphasis on sales management.
- Experience working in cross-functionally in dynamic, high-growth environments.
- Proven success leading large teams and hitting/exceeding revenue targets.
- Technical acumen and ability to translate technical concepts to commercial strategies and client needs.
Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
