Job Description

As a Automation Application Engineer, you will spearhead the development and optimization of instrument drivers and human-machine interfaces for our advanced robotic automation systems. Working alongside a diverse team of experts, your role will be crucial in implementing cutting-edge robotic technologies that enhance operational efficiency, boost productivity, and elevate process quality. Your contributions will be pivotal in our commitment to technological advancement and automation.

Key Responsibilities

Programming and Control :

• Develop, test, and refine instrument driver and HMI software for diverse robotic applications.

System Integration :

Testing and Validation :

Documentation :

This role will require travel, up to about 50% of the time, or 2 weeks per month. Travel will primarily be in the United States, but there may be opportunity for international travel as well.

Qualifications

Educational Requirements : Bachelor's Degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable discipline preferred.

Robotics Expertise : Robust understanding of robotics fundamentals, dynamics, and control mechanisms.

Experience :

Technical Proficiency : Skilled in programming languages like C , C#, Python, and familiar with ROS.

Problem-Solving Prowess : Adept at identifying and resolving intricate technical problems.

Communication Skills : Exceptional ability to convey complex ideas and collaborate effectively with team members.

Safety Knowledge : Acquaintance with safety protocols and best practices concerning robotic systems.

Adaptability : Eagerness to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-evolving work environment.
