We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join the Analytical Sciences Lab Operations Support team. You'll assist with daily lab functions and ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Manage laboratory supplies, reagents inventory, and media preparation
• Handle compressed gases and cryogenic liquids safely
• Monitor and maintain controlled temperature units, fume hoods, and biological safety cabinets (BSC)
• Use electronic systems to track equipment maintenance, calibration, and coordinate workflows
• Manage paper lab notebooks and logbooks
• Clean, organize, and label lab spaces according to procedures
• Perform tasks in areas handling potent chemical compounds
  
  

• Associate degree (AS) in Life Sciences or equivalent
• Strong computer, organizational, and communication skills with attention to detail
• Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting 25 lbs., standing for extended periods, and operating lab equipment
• Knowledge of cGMP and the ability to operate multiple electronic systems
• Self-motivated team player with adaptability and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn quickly, multitask, and follow company policies and procedures
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
  
  

What to Expect in the Hiring Process:

• 45-60 Minute Virtual Interview with Manager and/or Group Leader

Additional Details:

The position is full-time, Sunday-Thursday, with the hours of 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, with overtime as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, New York are encouraged to apply.
