The candidate will be responsible for designing and executing in vivo studies in infectious diseases and vaccines, including:
- Designing and implementing animal models for pathogenic infection and vaccine immunogenicity studies in various species.
- Executing in vivo studies, including infection monitoring, immune response evaluation, and tissue collection.
- Administering agents via multiple routes (IM, PO, IP, SC, IN, and IV) and evaluating novel in vivo techniques.
- Maintaining detailed records of all experimental information in electronic lab notebooks.
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in biological sciences, toxicology, or related field
- Knowledge of cGMPs and experience in a GMP environment
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong scientific, organizational, and communication skills with attention to detail
- Experience in Biologics Release Testing and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Proficiency in rodent handling, including various injection routes (IP, IC, IM, IV, SQ), observations, and necropsy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, learn new techniques, and maintain accurate records

Additional Details:
This position is Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with overtime as needed and the potential for some off-shift hours as dependent on the project. Candidates living within a commutable distance of West Point, PA are encouraged to apply.
