The Pilot Plant Scientist will be responsible for performing multiple tasks within the Process Development group in support of biologics manufacturing process. The Scientist will perform a variety of responsibilities in both a team and individual setting. This position is an on-site position.

Job Description
The Pilot Plant Scientist will be responsible for performing multiple tasks within the Process Development group in support of biologics manufacturing process. The Scientist will perform a variety of responsibilities in both a team and individual setting. This position is an on-site position.
Position Responsibilities
- Developing and/or improving pharmaceutical (biologics) manufacturing processes
- Planning experiments, routine analytical measurements operating filtration systems, analyzing data, and writing reports
- Protein purification process development and improvement
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration on critical instrumentation
- Buffer preparation
- Operate automated processes including process monitoring
BASIC MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of Bachelor'sdegree in biological or related sciences;
- or, High School Diploma with 2 minimum of 2 years pharmaceutical pilot plant engineering experience
- Experience with large scale-up equipment
- Understanding of protein separation
- Filtration experience
- Pilot Plant experience
- Liquid separation experience
- Preparative Chromatography experience
- JPM, Minitab and/or Unicorn
