The main responsibility of this position is to perform in-process analytical bioassay sample testing to support both early and late-stage protein, cell and gene therapy programs.
- Support method and critical reagent qualifications.
- Utilize laboratory techniques such as mammalian cell culture.
- Perform routine analytical procedures such as ELISAs, PCR, cell-based assays, and flow cytometry.
- Be responsible for data integrity and accuracy, and documentation of all analytical testing in an electronic laboratory notebook.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Biochemistry, or other related degree concentration with 3 years industry experience, OR Relevant Masters with 1 year industry experience, OR PhD
Experience with the following skills;
- Pipetting skills
- Flow Cytometry
- Aseptic Technique
- Cell Culture
- qPCR
- Cell-Based Potency Assays
- ELISA / Immunoassay
Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Experience working in BSL2 labs
Experience with GMP procedures preferred
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Flexibility to travel between Malvern and Spring House 10% of your time
