Job Description
Job Summary : Eurofins Medical Device Microbiology is seeking an Associate Scientist to join their dynamic team in pursuit of making the world a safer place through Medical Device testing. This individual will perform endotoxin, sterility, and bioburden testing, as well as environmental monitoring to ensure products meet regulatory standards while aligning with the Med Device philosophy of precision, proficiency, and proximity.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Applies GMP / GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
- Perform bioburden, endotoxin, and sterility testing, as well as environmental monitoring
- Perform microscopy and utilize testing equipment, including incubation chambers, water baths, depyrogenation oven, plate readers, Steritest Symbio pump, among others.
- Read test results and compare to acceptance criteria
- Enter data into computer system
- Maintain / calibrate equipment
- Prepare and wash glassware
- Performs other duties as assigned
