Job Description
Job Summary : Eurofins BPT-Columbia is looking for a Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our team located in Columbia, Missouri. The Continuous Improvement Specialist supports the development and implementation of Continuous Improvement / LEAN practices within site operations and functional support groups. Key goals of the position include improving operational efficiency, reducing operational waste and promoting continuous improvement culture.
Job duties include :
- Assist with the development of CI / LEAN deployment strategy.
- Implement fundamental CI / LEAN tools and processes (e.g., 5S, Standardized Work, Visual Management, Value Stream Mapping, Rapid Problem Solving, Process Design for Flow, Built in Quality, Kaizen Events, Audit Systems, etc.).
- Provide hands-on training and coaching in CI / LEAN tools and concepts.
- Collaborate with operations staff to identify, prioritize and implement CI / LEAN projects.
- Collaborate with operations staff in creating standardized processes and systems.
- Assist with the development and management of CI / LEAN performance metrics.
