Job Description
Eurofins is looking for a Scheduling Administrator to join our team in Lancaster, PA. The Scheduling Administrator is responsible for accurately performing production planning and scheduling activities to efficiently serve the company’s clients.
- Execute efficient schedules on a regular basis to maximize efficiency of resources and equipment.
- Collaborate with staff to identify scheduling requirements
- Proactively monitors production process, workflow, and schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
- Provide various scheduling analyses to ensure optimal schedules and provide staff recommendations.
- Make recommendations to modify production dates based on materials and capacity fluctuations.
- Assist with integration initiatives of report scheduling system
- Capture, store, and report on historical statistics
- Generate daily or weekly production reports to leaders for critical decision-making purposes.
- Maintain communication of information between the users and management concerning system development and maintenance needs, objectives, and strategies.
- Champion and implement process improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with new processes across service lines.
- Performs other related duties as required and directed.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would possess:
- 1-3 years of scheduling experience is preferred, but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, organize, prioritize, and follow through to completion on multiple tasks under strict deadlines and changing priorities.
- Ability to forecast and trend workload needs.
- Basic understanding of pharmaceutical testing is not required, but would be beneficial
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Project management or facilitation skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel is required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project and PowerPoint is highly desirable
Qualifications
- At least a high school diploma, but Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

The position is a full-time role, with regular hours from Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm.
