Key Responsibilities :
- Synthesis : Assist in the synthesis of oligonucleotides using automated synthesizers. Follow established protocols and ensure accuracy in reagent preparation and reaction conditions.
- Purification : Perform purification of oligonucleotides using techniques such as FPLC (Fast Protein Liquid Chromatography) and HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography). Monitor purification processes to achieve high-quality results.
- Analysis : Analytical assays will be conducted to verify the quality and identity of synthesized oligonucleotides using LC-MS.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, procedures, and results. Ensure all documentation is compliant with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lab Maintenance : Contribute to the maintenance of laboratory equipment. Assist in inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed.
- Collaboration : Work closely with senior chemists and other team members to support ongoing projects. Contribute to problem-solving discussions.
