The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience in bio-assay including but not limited to molecular endpoints, biochemistry assay, bioanalytical assay, and formulation characterization. The candidates shall also be analytically minded, systematic, and embrace data-driven decision making. The scientist will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the client organization to perform experiments to aid the development of nanomedicine candidates and non-virus delivery platform for the next generation of Genetic Medicine.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work with project team to design and execute bioanalytical assay to support preclinical characterization of nanomedicine (e.g. in vitro potency assessment, ligand-receptor binding assessment).
- Develop and execute molecular endpoint assay to support in vitro or in vivo assessment of nanomedicine (e.g. Tissue processing, DNA / RNA extraction, qPCR, flow cytometry).
- Lipid nanoparticle formulation and characterization (e.g. Buffer exchange, Ribogreen assay, DLS, HPLC).
- General laboratory assistance, including ordering and receiving lab supplies, preparation of reagents, and maintaining laboratory equipment.
- Assist in troubleshooting technical challenges and provide scientific and technical input to project teams.
- Support workflow automation and optimization.
- Help design and complete experiments, perform data analysis, and present results.
- Accurate recording of all practical work : completion of electronic notebook while maintaining procedure quality standards.

The position is Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm with overtime as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Boston, MA are encouraged to apply.
