What are the responsibilities and job description for the Downstream Process Development Engineer position at Eurofins?
Employee Responsibilities :
Perform labscale downstream processing of vaccine products and process intermediates
Perform assays on vaccine products process intermediates and related experimental samples using biochemical / analytical tests
Prepare solutions / reagents
Setup process equipment for labscale experiments
Maintain records and experimental results following good manufacturing practices (GMP)
The Ideal Candidate would possess :
Strong computer scientific and organizational skill
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team selfmotivation adaptability and a positive attitude
Ability to learn new techniques perform multiple tasks simultaneously keep accurate records follow instructions and comply with company policies
Proven ability to work independently in handson laboratory setting
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in biology chemistry or other related degree concentration or equivalent directlyrelated experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one fulltime year of college in related major)
0 2 Years of industry experience
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Additional Information :
Position is fulltime and permanent MondayFriday 8am5pm with over time as needed. Candidates currently living in a commutable distance to West Point PA are encouraged to apply. Onsite work is expected in order to be effective in this role.
