Basic Function and Scope of Responsibility :
The Senior Finance Manager will partner with Business Unit executives to develop an indepth understanding of the business units apply financial analysis to enable thoughtful decisionmaking and enhance financial analysis tools to identify opportunities for improvement. The successful candidate will supervise finance team members as assigned and build relations within the finance team and throughout the organization to facilitate financial analysis reporting and finance support activities.
Essential Job Duties :
Financial Analysis
Prepare a detailed and timely monthly financial analysis of the companys operations for distribution to Eurofins executivesPrepare a detailed monthly analysis of general ledger accounts with explanations of variances to budget and prior year in a format that facilitates executive reviewOwn and maintain detailed Excel files to analyze and forecast financial components of company operationsPrepare a financial forecast on a weekly basis including predictions of revenues and expensesPrepare presentation materials for monthly and quarterly financial updatesSupport quarterly board meetings through preparation of financial analysis and coordination of supporting materials for all departmentsAssist in the coordination and preparation of the companys annual budgetPrepare meaningful financial analysis and reports to support business decisions assess investment opportunities and identify opportunities for improvementProvide backup and support for sales operations including understanding of costing and pricing modelsProvide advanced revenue recognition analysis and developmentLeadership
Serve as a financial expert for the company providing adhoc financial analysis and accounting expertiseCoordinate financial analysis and reporting to ensure consistent accurate reporting across the companyDevelop relationships with parent and sister company personnel and external auditorsQualifications :
Bachelor degree in Business Administration Finance or Accounting requiredMinimum of four years of professional work experienceSupervisory experience requiredCore understanding of accounting principlesKnowledge of various software applications such as accounting systems spreadsheets and databases to assemble manipulate and / or format data and / or reportsAbility to thoroughly and clearly communicate business issues verbally and in writingExcellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively and work efficiently with people at all levels in an organizationSelfdirected and driven with ability to solve problems prioritize and multitask in a deadline driven environmentHighly analytical with ability to identify research resolve and communicate financial issuesAbility to maintain high level of confidentiality regarding payroll potential acquisitions or other sensitive dataAbility to work outside core business hours as neededAdditional Information :
