We're looking for an experienced auto lube and service technician who is ready to give our service customers an excellent experience. You must be able to rotate tires, change light bulbs, change oil and other fluids, and perform other general maintenance duties to be successful in this position. Although not required for this role, having knowledge of the inner workings of various car models is helpful. We prefer that you have prior experience working as an automotive or lube technician. Responsibilities
Conduct oil changes and filter replacements on high-performance European vehicles, following manufacturer specifications and Euromotive's meticulous service standards.
Perform tire rotations and inspect tire tread depth, wear patterns, and pressure to maintain peak handling and safety.
Check and replenish fluid levels, including coolant, brake fluid, power steering fluid, and windshield washer fluid, to specified levels.
Perform comprehensive visual inspections to identify potential issues, including fluid leaks, worn brake pads, or other safety concerns.
Carry out additional routine maintenance tasks, such as air and cabin filter replacements, wiper blades
Ensure proper disposal of all used oil, filters, and other waste materials, following environmental regulations and Euromotive's eco-friendly practices.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored for safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with team members, providing assistance as needed to ensure timely, high-quality service.
Accurately document all maintenance work completed on service orders and in electronic records, with attention to detail.
Engage in ongoing training to stay current with industry developments, automotive technology, and best practices for servicing European vehicles.
Drain and refill engine oil, as well as inspect and top off transmission, brake, power steering, and coolant fluids, on customer vehicles
Make sure all work areas and the shop floor are clean, and that all safety rules are observed
Provide suggestions for additional maintenance depending on the vehicle's age, mileage, and other factors
Keep detailed records of all repairs made and components replaced
Maintain shop inventory by recording oil and parts usage and reordering supplies when needed
Qualifications
This position requires excellent customer service skills
Lube technician experience of one or more years or related automotive experience is preferred
Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to operate vehicle lifts, tools, and other garage equipment safely
