We are searching for a motivated & experienced HR Business Partner
The HR Business Partner plays a pivotal role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives within a manufacturing facility, taking a hands-on approach to drive results. This role focuses on recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and strategic HR initiatives. It supports operational excellence through effective HR management and close collaboration with key stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.
Recruitment Management:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for New York hires, including job posting, applicant tracking, screening, interviews, and background checks.
- Identify and utilize diverse recruiting resources such as job fairs, career events, and college recruitment to attract quality candidates.
- Oversee on-premise staffing agency programs, ensuring alignment with operational needs from candidate selection to termination processes.
Employee Relations and Compliance:
- Act as a primary point of contact for employment-related issues, resolving day-to-day matters and escalating complex issues as necessary.
- Lead investigations and resolution of employment issues, ensuring compliance with HR policies and legal requirements.
- Manage employee leave of absence processes, including FMLA and disability paperwork, collaborating with managers on accommodations and return-to-work plans.
HR Administration and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate HR records and reports, including I-9 forms, employee files, and compliance documentation.
- Conduct routine audits of personnel files and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Manage E-Verify processes and ensure accurate documentation and compliance.
Training and Development Support:
- Assist in the delivery of training programs, including content development and delivery methods like individual coaching, group sessions, and e-learning modules.
- Support managers in performance evaluation processes and provide coaching on employee development initiatives.
Benefits and Compensation Administration:
- Review and recommend total compensation packages based on market data and internal equity, extending formal job offers.
- Administer benefit programs, including 401k plans, COBRA, and voluntary benefits, ensuring accurate enrollment and compliance.
Special Projects and Reporting:
- Participate in special HR projects and initiatives to support organizational goals.
- Prepare monthly headcount reports and other HR-related data for financial reporting and strategic planning purposes.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) preferred.

5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.

Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
