We are seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist to join our clients team in Columbia South Carolina; they are looking to lead a revolution in UV / LED technology. The ideal candidate will drive research on III-nitride semiconductor optoelectronics, with a specific focus on MOCVD process development for UV LEDs. This would be a full time, on-site position based in Columbia - South Carolina.
Responsibilities
- MOCVD Process Development : Develop and optimize MOCVD processes to enhance UV LED performance and yield.
- R&D Leadership : Lead research and development projects on III-nitride semiconductor structures.
- Characterization : Optimize and characterize LED structures using advanced characterization techniques.
- Data Analysis : Analyze and document research data to inform future research directions.
- Problem-Solving : Address production yield and device material issues through innovative problem-solving.
