Job Duties:
- Supervise, motivate, and coach associates in the moment and as needed.
- Celebrate positive associate performance and identify opportunities for improvements including - but not limited to - performance reviews and discussions.
- Handle all guest issues that arise in a timely manner; identify proactive solutions.
- Provide front desk / Guest Service Associate support including guest bookings and sales.
- Manage associate time-off requests and call outs.
- Lead interviews and train new associates as needed.
- Oversee inventory supplies on a weekly basis.
- Take ownership and accountability for creating a positive work environment that increases productivity and reduces turnover.
- Maintain and uphold culture within the center.
- Follow policies and procedures and always provide an exceptional associate and guest experience.
- Ensure staff adherence and follow-up to EWC playbook initiatives, center promotions, etc.
- Provide recommendations and insight to employees weekly schedules.
- Collaborate with franchise owners on daily / weekly / monthly activities, performance, etc.
- Handle register management and other similar tasks to maintain the daily flow of operations.
- Advocate for Wax Pass and retail sales.
- Be a European Wax Center Brand Ambassador.
Job Qualifications:
- 2 to 4 years of retail management experience, preferably with relevant industry experience.
- Flexible work schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Ability to work up to 40 hours a work week.
- Capability to learn and operate a POS system.
- Highly resourceful, flexible, and able to solve problems promptly.
- Excellent communication, organization and time management skills.
- Positive, punctual, personable, and detail-oriented.
- Demonstrate success in achieving selling and operational excellence by hiring, leading, retaining, motivating, and developing effective team members.
- Experience with coaching, developing, and motivating those around you.
- Demonstrated ability to set goals and achieve them by developing and leading a team that drives results.
- Proven ability to create an open and positive work environment.
- Strong customer service orientation and an obsession with creating the ultimate team member and guest experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace.
