KEY RESULT AREAS:
SCOPE: To manage all aspects of the accounts receivable cycle from cash receipts to collections
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reconcile credit card receipts to in house software
- Apply ACH, wire, credit card and check payments
- Create and send individual customer statements on as needed basis
- Scrutinize customer application for compliance with state tax requirements
- Assign appropriate credit limits in conjunction with partnered credit insurance company
- Review existing credit limits as needed and adjust based upon sales/payment trends
- Analyze company aging to determine delinquencies
- Follow up with delinquent accounts via phone, email etc to secure timely payment
- Utilize partnered collection agencies to collect serious delinquencies
- Work with other departments as needed to resolve delinquencies and conflicts not otherwise created by late paying customers
- Assist controller with extension of credit
- Other duties as assigned
