We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join our team at Eustace High School. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of history, a passion for teaching, and the ability to inspire and educate our students.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cover the breadth and depth of the history curriculum.
2. Evaluate and monitor student's performance and provide effective feedback to guide student learning and success.
3. Maintain a positive, interactive, and inclusive learning environment.
4. Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate cross-curriculum themes and concepts.
5. Stay current on historical events and developments in history education by attending professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops.
Skills:
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Strong knowledge of teaching methods and educational pedagogy.
3. Ability to engage students and make history come alive.
4. Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
5. Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and school staff.
Certifications:
The candidate must hold a valid teaching certification. Prior teaching experience, especially at the high school level, is highly desirable.
