We have a current opportunity for an Accounting Specialist at our Menomonee Falls facility.
Position Overview:
You will be responsible for performing general accounting duties.
What You'll Do:
- Manage and enter affiliate invoices.
- Freight – review costs, code invoices, make and/or respond to inquiries, work with purchasing, verify match with shipments.
- Inventory – Process invoices, and match with shipping documentation. Track Consignment Inventory usage.
- Verify purchases and costs accuracy on purchase order invoices. Process delivered purchase orders.
- Export drop ships – process shipments.
- Resolve problems with inventory invoices.
- Monthly update currency rates in ERP.
- Prepare monthly freight accrual journal entries and assist in entering other monthly journal entries as needed.
- Run monthly A/P Reports and reconcile to the general ledger.
- Close A/P monthly in ERP and open a new month.
- Answer any questions from departments or suppliers in regard to invoice payments via phone calls or emails.
- Resolve account discrepancies by investigating documentation.
- Review monthly statements from vendor and request missing invoices.
- Prepare Offset transactions, online payments
- Run open payables report. Select invoices for payment.
- Voucher PO invoices and freight
- Prepare journal entries
- Perform general accounting duties
- Other tasks as defined.
