Overview
We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic products. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Position Responsibilities- Essential
- To accurately set & process tooling in accordance with the production schedule
- Accomplish the OEE and the KPI’s, reduce scrap rate to 2-3%, monitor cycle time on all machines daily
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement with molds, presses, change-overs, etc.
- Responsible for trouble-shooting / responding and rectifying production process issues
- Be able to change the pick arm from robots (ABB)
- Maintain daily and small maintenance required for injection molding machines
- Assist production managers and supervisors when needed
- Set up monitoring after MC and during production run according to EuWe standard
- Responsible for parts quality trouble-shooting, improving and optimizing the injection molding process
- Maintain and clean tools in production run according to cleaning plan
- Check injection units for material leak and any other issues according to cleaning plan
- Assist on tryout for new tools and industrialize new injection molding process
- Clean machines during change-overs and remove previous parts from machine.
- Apply 5S daily
- Set-up injection molding parameters according to setting cards and document all changes
Position Responsibilities- Non-Essential/Other
· Good verbal and written skills (fluent in German a plus but not required).
· Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills and Experience
· Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
· Ability to manipulate up to 90lbs.
· Must meet the required standards for quality and quantity of work.
· Experience with SAE and Metric measuring systems and be able to convert between them.
· Must follow all safety requirements.
· Be able to lift, bend, twist, walk and climb as required to perform the job.
· Must be able to work overtime as needed.
· Must be able willing to undergo background check and drug screen.
Beneficial Skills and Experience
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) with 3-5 years working in injection molding operations.
· Associates Degree in Industrial or Maintenance Technology is desired.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
