What To Expect
As a Manufacturing Engineer- Plastics at Tesla, you will design, implement, and improve Plastics molding automation and assembly processes. You will perform Design for Manufacturing and Assembly, define the Automation and assembly line Layout, assembly processes, and Automated equipment. You will work with a highly motivated cross-functional team and deliver turnkey solutions to enable vehicle production at rate.

Collaborating with product engineering on DFM reviews, building quality into the productDesign assembly processes and equipment for ease of operation and safety using PFMEACollaborate with Factory Layout and Material Flow team to design for optimal layoutCollaborating with Controls engineering to ensure equipment is built to Tesla standards20% Travel Requirement for Domestic and International travel for Equipment FATsOn-site Commissioning of Equipment using factory and site acceptance testingMake/buy/ROI analyses as required and validating external suppliers using PPAP Planning sufficient capacity to meet business targets for production output
What You'll Bring
