Monitor and provide feedback for safety policies and procedures: Assists with creating and updating comprehensive safety policies and procedures, ensuring they align with relevant regulations and industry best practices
Assist with safety training programs: Assists with the development of safety training sessions for employees at all levels while ensuring trainers are competent and able to deliver the training to employees, covering various safety topics and best practices. Collaborate with different departments to design and implement safety training programs, ensuring all employees are well informed about safety protocols and practic
es.
Investigate incidents and accidents: Lead detailed investigations of workplace incidents, accidents, or injuries to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences. Prepare comprehensive incident reports, analyzing root causes and proposing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences, and ensuring that corrective action items are closed out by operati
ons.
Implement safety measures and controls: Recommend and implement safety equipment, technologies, and controls to minimize risks and enhance workplace sa
fety.
Monitor safety performance and metrics: Track and analyze safety data, including injury rates, injury reports, and compliance levels to analyze trends, and to provide regular reports to management to identify areas for improv
ement.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations: Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal safety regulations and ensure the organization's practices and policies adhere to these sta
