This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $125,000-$150,000

- Technical leadership in the development, creation, and implementation of planning concepts and projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and the establishment of comprehensive design specifications and conditions for the Press Shop department. Responsible for process optimization and the analysis of alternative solutions, balancing technical feasibility with economic considerations.
- Oversight of end-to-end planning of production processes, equipment, and methods across all work sequences in the Press Shop department. Collaborate closely with all departments and stakeholders to translate these plans into detailed layout designs, ensuring compliance with all requirements, regulations, and industry standards.
- Supervision and guidance in the creation of production plans for all work sequences according to established time-finding procedures. Ensure timely and accurate implementation of defined measures while coordinating the activities of technical contractors and internal teams to meet project deadlines.
- Leading role in equipment planning, including determining material supply and delivery schedules. Approve technical specifications for Press Shop-related equipment and work closely with suppliers and contractors to resolve technical issues.
- Define process reliability for individual parts, ZSBs, and products, driving improvements in process quality and efficiency through thorough analysis and testing.
- Development and presentation of comprehensive layout plans, specifications, schedules, and investment proposals, ensuring alignment with economic and operational standards.
- Leading role in the preparation of offers, performing comparative analyses, and handling purchase orders to select the most cost-effective solutions.
- Technical leadership in the realization of VFF, PVS, 0-series, and production ramp-ups to series production, ensuring a smooth transition between pre-series and series production. Oversee the alignment of manufacturing processes and the timely delivery of pre-series parts.
- Manage the processing of planning orders, continuous improvement proposals, and change requests, ensuring all revisions are in line with quality and efficiency standards.
- Proactive coordination with relevant departments, R&D, and operators to ensure the successful implementation of product design suggestions and continuous optimization of production processes.
- Identify and reduce waste in production processes, implementing lean management principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Take on special tasks as assigned, demonstrating leadership in managing complex, cross-functional projects with a focus on achieving departmental and organizational goals.
- Effective collaboration with supervisors, team members, and other departments to ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with existing guidelines, standards, and regulations. Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, supporting their professional development.
- Lead the management and coordination of external service providers, ensuring that project goals and timelines are met while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.
- Support the purchasing department during the quoting process, including the development of technical specifications, capacity planning, machinery technology, timelines, and contract terms.
- Oversee the die development process from design through manufacturing to final qualification. Take ownership of scheduling and cost planning to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery.
- Prepare and present regular updates on quality status to internal committees, identifying key issues and developing action plans to address them.
- Define and implement action plans with suppliers to resolve production-related issues, ensuring all challenges are addressed efficiently and effectively.
- Support change management processes, facilitating communication and coordination between R&D and suppliers to ensure smooth transitions and product improvements.
- Evaluate supplier capacity and performance, ensuring that all suppliers, including those for new press lines, meet quality, capacity, and performance requirements.

- 10 years of professional experience in Press Shop Planning
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in mechanical engineering or related fields
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
