What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Summer Laborer position at EV Construction?

Qualifications:
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Must have reliable transportation. This role works throughout West Michigan regularly.
- Eligible to work in the US
- High School diploma or GED
- General familiarity with construction tools and materials is a plus.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure and use hand tools is a plus.
- Ability to perform basic math
Physical Requirements:
- Lift and carry 25 pounds regularly, 50 pounds or more occasionally
- Must be able to see details at close range
- Will work for prolonged periods standing in a variety of conditions
- Must have good manual dexterity, good sense of balance, good hand-eye coordination
- Must be able to perform work on scaffolding and / or ladders
- Must be able to work at heights in powered lifts
- Must be able to work at or above shoulder height for extended periods of time
