Evac North America is seeking a detail-oriented and quality-focused Assembler - Inspection & Quality to join our team. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for the quality inspection of parts and assembled items in our shop while also performing assembly tasks as needed. You may be assigned to various operational departments and will serve as a backup for the Operations Lead.
Key Responsibilities :
Inspection & Quality Duties :
- Conduct receiving, in-process, and final inspections, ensuring accurate recordkeeping.
- Prepare Non-Conforming Material Reports (NMR) and assist the Quality Engineer with root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
- Manage measurement and test equipment (M&TE) calibration processes, logs, and records.
- Maintain an approved supplier database and related records.
- Support supplier Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and site-level FAT processes.
- Assist with site-level ISO management system, external, and internal audits.
- Conduct supplier quality audits and handle returned goods / warranty claims.
- Report and address Environment, Health, and Safety incidents.
- Collaborate with the local QEHS engineer and internal audit team.
- Support the Quality Management System (QMS) at the local site in alignment with Group Quality requirements.
