Job Title: IT Lead
Job Summary:
The IT Lead will be a key member of the global IT team, responsible for supporting IT infrastructure and applications at our South Carolina manufacturing facility. This role requires a hands-on approach to overseeing local IT operations, ensuring alignment with global IT standards, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance digital transformation within manufacturing. The IT Lead will serve as the primary liaison between the local site and global IT leadership, ensuring high system reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily IT operations, including hardware, software, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity, ensuring seamless functionality in a manufacturing environment.
- Ensure sufficient tasks execution.
- Implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices in alignment with global IT standards.
- Support digital transformation initiatives, including Industry 4.0 and manufacturing digitalization projects.
- Collaborate with enterprise infrastructure and application teams to enhance business processes and operational efficiencies.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve IT-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing operations.
- Manage vendor relationships to optimize cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure robust cybersecurity measures to protect company data, trade secrets, and customer information.
- Monitor and analyze IT performance, proactively recommending improvements.
- Provide end-user training and technical support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and conduct regular audits to uphold data integrity.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of IT experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience with IT service management (ITSM) and ITIL frameworks.
- Hands-on expertise in networking, cybersecurity, server management, and enterprise applications.
- Proven ability to drive IT improvements and digital transformation within a manufacturing setting.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
