What you’ll be doing
- Lead and manage a team of QA Engineers to ensure the successful delivery of services.
- Develop and implement testing strategies, plans, and documentation, including test cases and test scripts.
- Oversee end-to-end testing processes, including unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Execute manual and automated testing within AWS environments, ensuring the highest quality standards.
- Utilize AWS services (such as AWS Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, etc.) in the testing environment to ensure compatibility and performance.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with engineering teams to resolve issues.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, providing direction and support in their career growth.
- Participate in sprint planning, standups, and retrospective meetings to ensure clear communication and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on features from a quality perspective.
Requirements
- 3 – 5 years of experience as a QA Lead, with a strong understanding of leadership in managing QA teams.
- Proficiency with AWS services, including but not limited to S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and others.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Experience with API testing and related tools.
- Knowledge of various types of testing, including functional, regression, load, and performance testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps processes is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers to promote personal and team growth.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced work environment and on multiple tasks
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
