Position Summary
The Junior Graphic Designer develops innovative print and digital designs from ideation through final production. Working closely with the Design Director and the wider communication team, you will deliver effective design solutions that meet the needs of both internal and external stakeholders. This position also plays a key role in elevating the Evangelical Covenant Church's overall branding, marketing, and communication strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Conceptualization
Develop designs for both print and digital media, including brochures, posters, social media graphics, website visuals, and basic video elements, ensuring brand consistency across platforms.
Work as part of a multidisciplinary communication team to produce cohesive, high-quality deliverables.
Edit and color-correct photos to align with brand and project standards.
Stay current with emerging design trends, cultural shifts, and new technologies to enhance creative output.
Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Design Director and Executive Director of Marketing and Communications.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Communications, or a related field-or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) proficiency required.
Strong foundation in core design principles (typography, color, layout, branding).
A self-starter who can work independently when needed but thrives in a team-oriented setting.
