Summary: The EPC Church Planting Administrative Assistant is a non-exempt, part-time position and vital member of the OGA support team, responsible for operational activities that support the mission and vision of the EPC.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Administrative Support
- Provides administrative, travel scheduling, and time management support to the National Director of Church Planting (NDCP)
- Reconciles expense receipts of the NDCP with the monthly American Express bill
- Sends, receives and directs correspondence to and from the NDCP
- Maintains church planting data
- Assists in producing the annual CPND report for the EPC National Leadership Team meeting
- Communicates and collaborates with the other EPC Gospel Priorities: World Outreach, Effective Biblical Leadership, and Church Health, to further the Mission of the EPC.
Event Support
- Coordinates the organizing and arranging of the Annual EPC Church Planters Fall Retreat and National Church Planting Leadership Team bi-annual meetings
- Assists in the administrative preparation for the annual EPC General Assembly meeting in June.
- Coordinates promotion of events through EPC Communications Team
- Assists with onsite arrangements, which may include communications with hotel, catering, etc.
- Attends Church Planting events, including the EPC General Assembly, if needed, to provide administrative and host support
- Conducts any related follow-up as needed from events
Skillset and Background:
- Highly organized, with excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
- Takes initiative, is a creative and analytical thinker
- Proficient in word processing and database management (including the Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Able to communicate, verbally and in writing, in a personable, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Able to travel to annual EPC General Assembly and Church Planting related events, as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-3 years of administrative assistant experience preferred
- Professes personal faith in Jesus Christ and conducts oneself with a Christian-ministry mindedness.
- Affirms the EPC essentials
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
