Job Title: Electrical Sales Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Sales Manager to lead and expand our sales team, drive growth, and manage key customer relationships within the electrical industry. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and expand market share in the electrical sector.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a sales team, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure high performance.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, contractors, and distributors to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for new business and potential areas for growth.
- Oversee and participate in the negotiation and closing of sales contracts with both new and existing clients.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports on team achievements, sales forecasts, and revenue goals.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, operations) to ensure seamless delivery of electrical products and services to clients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest electrical technologies and products, ensuring the company offers competitive and innovative solutions.
- Attend industry events and trade shows to network and promote the company’s products and services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Electrical Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 5 years of sales experience in the electrical or related industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical products, services, and industry trends.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing a successful sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to drive sales performance.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Physical Work Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear, stand, move, operate with hands and arms, and lift up to 75 pounds.
- The employee is regularly required to use hands to operate or feel objects, tools or controls, communicate, distinguish or identify, adjust or focus.
- Activities involving being around moving parts and equipment, exposure to changes in temperature and humidity as well as dust, fumes, electricity, gases and moderate noise.
