Evans & Dixon is currently seeking to add a Property Law Associate Attorney with zero to four plus years of experience to join our real estate, litigation-focused firm in Chesterfield, Missouri. Our practice primarily involves civil litigation centered around property law concepts including real estate contracts, fee title, easements, adverse possession, liens and lien priorities, to name a few. We also handle some transactional real estate matters and general business litigation for our clients.
This position will require someone who is comfortable with multi-tasking and can autonomously handle a large volume of files along with meeting strict deadlines. Successful candidates should be teachable and have excellent analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities :
- Gathering evidence in support of client strategy
- Taking depositions of the claimant, witnesses, experts and other parties
- Attend court as required
- Conducting discovery
- Performing legal research
- Remaining current with developments in the law
- Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, opinions, and other legal documents
