Position Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Designer who is passionate about electrical design, eager to grow, and motivated to contribute to a variety of projects. The ideal candidate is self-driven, collaborative, and excited about learning. Responsibilities

• Assist in creating electrical construction documents, including drawings and specifications, under the guidance of engineers and senior designers.
• Draft electrical systems, including service entrance, power distribution, lighting/controls, and feeder/branch circuits.
• Support engineers and senior designers at construction meetings, reviewing contractor submittals, and addressing plan review comments.
• Support engineers and senior designers conduct site visits for evaluations, data collection, and punch walks.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams, including architects, structural, and mechanical engineers.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base Salary: $45,000 – $80,000 (DOE)
• Discretionary end-of-year bonus based on company, team, and individual performance

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering, drafting, or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for electrical system drafting and modeling.
• Experience with Xrefs in AutoCAD and family creation in Revit.
• Knowledgeable in layer management, electrical symbols, and annotations for electrical layouts.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
• Engineer in Training (EIT)
• Graduation or certificate from a certified CAD training program.
• Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
• Exposure to electrical calculations such as load, short-circuit, and voltage drop calculations.
